Golumpki Casserole

1 lb. ground beef 1 medium cabbage 1 onion, chopped 1 cup uncooked rice 8 oz. tomato sauce 2- 8oz. cans whole tomatoes, chopped salt and pepper

Par boil cabbage until tender. Cut into 1 inch slices. Brown ground beef and onions. Layer 1/2 of cabbage and ground beef into casserole dish. Layer 1 cup uncooked rice, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Add remaining cabbage. Cover with chopped cabbage. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
